About Service

Hospitality Interiors Planned Around Approvals and Operations

Hospitality fit-out in Dubai usually involves several separate approvals. A restaurant typically needs sign-off for the fit-out itself, for the kitchen and for fire and life safety, and depending on the location, a landlord or mall NOC on top. A hotel adds operator brand standards and phased handover while the building keeps trading.

The design is rarely what delays an opening. The approvals are.

Interio Haven designs hotel, restaurant, cafe and lounge interiors across Dubai and plans the authority and landlord requirements into the design from the first drawing. Which authority applies depends on where the venue sits, and we confirm it for your address before design starts. Getting that wrong at submission stage costs weeks.

Hospitality is one of several interior categories we work across in Dubai. If the project is a home rather than a venue, our residential interior design page covers apartments and villas, and the villa interior design cost page sets out what drives a fit out budget. For workplaces, see commercial and office interiors. Where a brief asks for the layout to follow Vastu principles, that is planned in from the start rather than corrected later.

why choose us

Shaping Hospitality Spaces with Signature Design Precision

We craft hospitality experiences through spaces that reflect identity, inspire connection and enhance operations.

Restaurants and Cafes

Front-of-house design, kitchen planning to Food Safety requirements, extraction and grease interception, service circulation, acoustics, seating density and bar construction.

Hotels

Lobby and reception, guest rooms and suites, corridors, F&B outlets, spa and back-of-house, coordinated with operator brand standards where they apply. Our write up on crafting a hotel interior in Dubai walks through how those pieces fit together.

Lounges and Shisha Venues

Ventilation is the defining constraint. Shisha venues carry specific extraction and separation requirements that shape the plan from the outset rather than being resolved at the end.

Authority Approvals

Drawings prepared in the format the relevant authority accepts from the start, because redrawing at submission stage costs weeks.

Fire and Life Safety

Civil Defence compliance designed in rather than retrofitted. Means of egress, detection, emergency lighting, exit signage and finish flame-spread ratings.

hotel and resort work

Hotel interior design projects

Hotel work covers the areas a guest moves through and the areas that keep the building running. Lobby and reception, guest rooms and suites, corridors and lift lobbies, food and beverage outlets, meeting and event rooms, spa and wellness, and the back of house that supports them. Each has a different durability requirement, and the specification changes accordingly.

Resort briefs shift the emphasis. Keys are spread across low-rise blocks or villas rather than stacked, the arrival sequence carries more of the impression, and the transition between inside and outside runs through most of the plan. Pool, beach and landscape-facing spaces bring their own finish and shading constraints.

Most of this work happens while the building keeps trading. That sets the sequence: floors released in phases, access and noise windows agreed with operations, guest circulation protected and separated from the works, and handover taken area by area rather than in one go at the end.

Where an operator is involved, their brand standards sit alongside the authority requirements, and the two are reconciled at design stage rather than on site. Our article on hotel interior design in Dubai sets out how those stages fit together.
